LIVE ON COLLEGE CAMPUS, TRADE SHOWS, SPORTS EVENTS – Mad Croc Energy Gum

Goal:  To launch new energy gum with 18 – 30 year old consumers in order to create brand awareness

Venues:

  • Midnight Madness – tied up with the launch of the X Box 360
  • Convenience Store Trade Show
  • Wizard World Gaming Show
  • College Football and basketball events
  • Favorite local bars and restaurants

Creative Treatment

  • Teams consisting of Hip Hop dancers and Drummers and scripted interactive samplers
  • High energy, tailored, choreographed Mad Croc dance and theme song developed for campaign

Results:   

  • 18000 samples distributed
  • 25% convenience store owners at trade shows  ordered product for the first time
  • Word of mouth - photographs of samplers, dancers and drummers appeared on blogs
  • Write ups appeared in trade magazines
  • Huge consumer participation at all venues
